The headquarters is located in the city of Chinchon, 45 kilometers southeast of Madrid. Next to the Church of the Assumption and the Lope de Vega Theatre, on top of the hill that raise over the famous Plaza Mayor, these streets were the scene of much of the history of Spain. Despite its numerous renovations, the building still retains some of the structure of the old houses that flourished in this region since the Golden Age.
We welcome teachers, students and in general all those visitors interested in the historical and cultural heritage of this Spanish town. In good time, we can schedule tours for organized groups including other areas of the building visits. The showrooms are organized around the Plaster Casts Courtyard, which has a collection of plaster sculptures and architectural ornaments for students of classical drawing. The exhibition includes a collection of the painter Guillermo Muñoz Vera [some of the paintings are in progress]. The underground rooms allow access to a gallery of centenarians caves dug into the ground, which retains large clay jars where they used to store wine and other foods for preservation. An archaeological treasure of a Mediterranean tradition dating back to the times of Tartessos and Minoan Civilization.
